National Foreign Language Week is celebrated throughout the U.S. this week. All Fairfield High School foreign language students celebrate while learning about other cultures each day. On Wednesday, March 6th, they toured South Korea virtually. Lexi Ogle (a FAHS graduate) studied in South Korea and still resides there. She joined each class via Zoom! Her mother, Jennifer Ogle, shared her experience while visiting the country as well.
On March 4th, Lamar Wagerman and his daughter, junior Lin Wagerman, presented about Saudi Arabia. Our foreign exchange student, María de Castro Rodriguez, presented about her home country of Spain on March 5th. On March 7th, María Piermont and her sister will teach us about Colombia. Finally, on Friday, our students will try their hands at crafting a variety of international dishes to share with one another.
