Lions Club Student of the Month - October 2014


Each month the Fairfield Lions Club honors a senior as the Lions Student of the Month.  Students are nominated by the faculty and selected for demonstrating self-discipline, a commitment to health, respect for others, compassion, good judgment, responsibility, honesty, scholarship, trustworthiness and involvement.


Camery Brown was honored by the Fairfield Lions Club as the Student of the Month for October, 2014. Camery is the daughter of Tracie and Adam Brown of Fairfield.  During her school career Camery has been involved in the following school activities:  National Honor Society (10-12), Vice President (11), National Art Honor Society (10-12), Treasurer (11-12), Student Council (12), American Red Cross Club (10-12), School Based Coalition (10-12), and Track Manager (11-12). Camery has also been involved in the following activities outside of school:  Collaborating for Youth, volunteered at Barlow Volunteer Fire Department, CFY Youth Coalition of Adams County, and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars. Camery has received the following Honors and Awards:  High Honor Roll, attended CFY Leadership Camp, Media Literary Presenter, Project Sticker Shock, and she was part of the Positive Messaging Campaign in Adams County that won $10,000. Camery also enjoys hunting, drawing, and volunteering in the community.  Camery’s future plans are to attend HACC, Gettysburg Campus, then transfer to Penn State Mont Alto or Shippensburg University to major in Secondary Education Mathematics, or Computer Programming.


  • Don't miss this year's fall play - Alice is @ Fairfield High School. When Friday November 7th and Saturday November 8th @ 6:30 p.m.  The doors open at 6 p.m.  Admission for the play is $7 for adults, student/senior/military admission $5 with ID.  Children under 5 are free.  In effort to shrink the hunger in our area, please consider bringing in a canned or boxed good to make our Fairfield Food Bank grow - you will receive $2 discount off an adult ticket by donating.  Click here for more information

  •  2014-2015 Yearbook Early  Bird Special

    Shortly, you will receive a letter from Herff Jones to order your 2015 Yearbook - Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, in conjunction with that notice, we will be having a "Fall Early Bird Special" for the month of October.  You may order your yearbook and receive a free a free name stamp. You must turn the order form in along with $60.00 into the high school office from October 1 - October 30 to receive your free name stamp.  After October 30th, yearbook prices will be $65.00 including name stamp and you must order them through Herff Jones with the order form you received at home.  With the school year expected to end by June 1st, all yearbooks must by ordered by JANUARY 30, 2015.  Don't miss out on this years year book!!!!!

  • TO ALL SENIORS AND SOPHOMORES: Jeff Bobey, the representative from Jostens, will be here on Wednesday October 29 to talk to all sophomores in reference to ordering class rings and seniors in reference to ordering graduation items.  Jostens’s is the company we go through for our students to purchase class rings and graduation items (caps/gowns).  Please mark your calendar for Sophomore Class Ring  and Senior Graduation Items Order Dates:  Thursday, November 6 during lunches and afterschool from in the HS/MS Lobby from 2:45 - 5:30 p.m.  For more information go to www.jostens.com
