Hagerstown Community College is hosting an Open House on Saturday, March 25th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Student Center. All students are welcomed to attend.
Women in Construction: Framing Your Future Celebration Event
Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA is hosting a nationwide celebration event: Women in Construction. It is for girls in grades 9 through 12 who are interested in careers related to the construction field. Students will have the opportunity to explore career fields, work with current college students and experience a professional networking lunch. This is a free program with limited seating. There will be two U.S. Service Academy Nights, one held on April 11th from 6-8:00 PM at Central York High School and one on April 12th from 6-8:00 PM at Cedar Cliff High School. These events are aimed at familiarizing students with the U.S. Service Academies and the Congressional Nomination process. Also attending will be various representatives from the Academies who are available to meet before and after the event. Attention Seniors who are interested in an Electrical Contracting Career: IEC, (Independent Electrical Contractors) is offering an Apprenticeship Program, paid full-time work and free classroom training which can earn up to 32 HACC credits. You must be 17 and have a high school diploma, and your own transportation for getting to job-sites around the region.
