As a former kindergarten and first grade teacher, I have developed a passion for teaching children how to read. I believe in using strategies rooted in science to ensure our students become successful readers. I received my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education/Reading from Shippensburg University. I earned my M.Ed. in Literacy from Sippery Rock University. I am a Pennsylvania Certified Reading Specialist.
