Life


Hecate was the only child of the Titans Perses
and Asteria. Zeus honored her after she was
born.She is also one of the few gods/goddesses
who carries dominion over the land, the sky
and the sea.Later she assisted Demeter in her
search for Persophone as a guide. After
Personphone was rescued, Hecate became
Persephone's minster.As one of the underworld
gods, she helped lead the spirits to the
overworld at night.Zeus also dubbed her the the nurse of the newborns and she sometimes assists Hermes at the cow pen. She agricultural powers in the realm of farming during the day and her necromatic powers at night.
