Attention Important Announcement about Lunch:
Beginning on Monday seating in the cafeteria will change. Tables will be rearranged. There will no longer be rows of cafeteria tables connected together. The tables will be separated from one another with 8 chairs per table. This will make it a friendly and more relaxed atmosphere. Unused tables will be removed to create more space
Adopt a Groups meet today during IL: 9th grade homerooms will be completing the integrity lesson, and 10th grade homerooms will attend the speaker in the auditorium. 11th grade students will meet with their Adopt-a-Groups, and 12th grade students will remain within their normal homeroom since they complete their virtues activities in English class.
If you were not here to take your final please see your quarter 2 teachers as soon as possible to make up your final
Attention all juniors who are part of the Adopt-A-Young-Knight Program, we will be going to the Elementary School today during IL. Please report directly to Mr. Ditty's room with you coats. We will be walking to the Elementary School.
The ASHE Harrisburg Engineering Scholarship Application is here! This $2000 scholarship is for any senior who is a U.S. Citizen, and is enrolling or enrolled in a four year college bachelor’s degree program in engineering. The deadline to apply is April 5th.
The Snowmobile Club of Adams County has also arrived! They are looking for a hardworking individual with decent grades, excellent attendance, involved in community groups such as Eagle Scouts, church/civic groups, and is going to a college or trade school. The deadline to apply for this $500 scholarship is March 22nd.
The Gettysburg Hospital Auxiliary offers a scholarship of up to $5000 available to any student who wishes to pursue studies in nursing/allied health leading to a degree or certificate. The scholarship recipient must be accepted to an accredited college institution or hospital school of nursing at the time the award is given. The deadline to apply is April 19th and applications are located in the scholarship drawer.
The medical assisting program at the Gettysburg Campus of HACC is inviting current seniors to participate in a medical assisting class on campus to learn more about the program and exciting career opportunities. Medical assisting is expected to grow over 23% in our area with many employers offering sign-on bonuses! Their CMA Exam Pass Rate and Employment Rate is 100% with the program. This is a nine-month accelerated program with a 6 week internship over the summer. There is a limit of 2 seats per session and is only open to current seniors. Class time is 8:00 am - 10:40 am and starts on January 28th. To reserve a seat contact Sara Maines. Come to the Counseling Office for her contact information.
