2025-2026 Remote Learning Plan

Dear Fairfield Area Families:

The Administration has been working to update the district's 2025-2026 Remote Learning Plan  based on the thoughtful feedback you have shared regarding our remote learning days. Input from families, teaching staff, and the Board of School Directors has been instrumental in helping us refine our approach and ensure it supports our students.

Based on this collective feedback, the Administration has made intentional updates to our district’s Plan. Our priority remains clear: to provide meaningful, engaging learning opportunities and clear expectations as students progress through each grade span. Remote learning days are designed to mirror in-school instruction as closely as possible, supporting continuity of learning while recognizing the developmental needs of our students.

The updated Plan outlines grade-level structures, schedules, and expectations to help families and students understand what a productive remote learning day looks like across our schools. We encourage you to review the Plan so you feel informed and prepared when remote learning days are necessary.

We are grateful for your feedback and appreciate your continued support of our district as we work together to serve our students.

Warm regards,

Thomas J. Haupt
Superintendent
