    • 3rd grade chefs got to put their fraction and graphing knowledge to work! They compared fractions of pizza toppings, made a graph of the 3rd grade students' favorite pizza toppings, played fraction ball, and of course got to build their own pizzas!

    • Students in Mrs.Goetz's first grade class completed an Eric Carle author study! Students read many different books by Eric Carle, made a hermit crab craft, graphed characters from Brown, Bear Brown Bear, played a Grouchy Ladybug math game, and learned interesting facts about Eric Carle!  Students retold the story, Little Cloud and illustrated their own clouds from the story!
    • February 27- March 3 our school celebrated Read Across America Week. Each day the students dressed up to celebrate the joy of reading and encourage others to have a love of literacy. I was able to be a guest reader in both third grade and first grade. 

     

    • Our school is excited to be a ‘Heart Partner School’ with the American Heart Association! Our students participated in an assembly led by Ms. Theresa and now have the opportunity to join the Kids’ Heart Challenge and choose to move more or be kind!
