Fairfield Area School District

Purpose of Title III Funds is to:

1. Ensure LEP and immigrant students will:
   • Attain English proficiency.
   • Develop high levels of academic attainment in core academic subjects.
   • Meet the same challenging state academic standards as all children are expected to meet.
   • Enter an all-English instruction setting.
2. Promote parent and community participation in bilingual/ESL education programs for LEP children.
3. Fairfield Area School District is part of a consortium with Upper Adams School District which is the lead district in the consortium for services.
