The first day of Winter Sports practices are on Monday, November 18th. FASD offers the following sports for the winter:
7th/8th Grade Boys Basketball (JH JV)
7th/8th Grade Girls Basketball (JH JV)
9th Grade Boys Basketball (JH Varsity)
9th Grade Girls Basketball (JH Varsity)
Junior Varsity Boys Basketball
Junior Varsity Girls Basketball
Varsity Boys Basketball
Varsity Girls Basketball
JH Wrestling (7th & 8th grade)
Varsity Wrestling (Grades 9-12)

Things to be aware of if your student would like to participate
*An athlete must have a current sports physical (dated after June 1, 2019) in order to participate at practices and games.
*All physicals must be handed in to the Athletic Office or Coach prior to the athlete being able to participate in any sports program sponsored by the school.
*All athletes must have health or accident insurance to be able to participate in a school sponsored sport. This information must be filled out on the front page of the PIAA Physical form.
*FASD does have an Athletic Program Fee which each athlete must hand in to the Athletic Office or Coach in order to be able to participate in the school sponsored sport. The current fee is $50.00 per sport/season.
Here is the PIAA CIPPE Physical form. If your student wishes to participate and they need a physical, please use this form and make sure all sections are filled out (Sections 1-6).

Athletic Trainer: Heather Hair, MS, LAT, ATC, CKTPHeather is an athletic trainer with WellSpan Rehabilitation in Adams County. She is currently the head ATC at FASD. She received her bachelor's degree in athletic training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and her master's degree in Organizational Development and Leadership from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2012.
