• Welcome to KEYBOARDING in the 3 day cycle
    Each session brings you to the next 3 day group of activities
    There are 10 total learning sessions and they build progressively as we work through the different letters

    Students will be utilizing a multitude of interactive educationally motivated web sites to learn the Proper Techniques for Keyboarding to type, as well as practice work....First Assignment
    5th grade goal= 30 wpm
    6th grade goal= 40 wpm
     
     

    Keyboard

    Students will be provided direct instruction on utilizing Microsoft word and excel documents for class activities

    Some 6th grade students also have the opportunity to work with Microsoft Power Point to learn about Presentations....Here are some examples!   Sarah   and   Becca 

    All students will learn the procedures for navigation on our computer network system here at school to save, retrieve and print their work

    Students work on focus letters to complete a page that is printed out.  They type the provided text in all lower case letters the first time and then all capital letters the second time for each of the provided "sentences".
